BATTERY HOUSING with INTELLIGENT BATTERY MONITOR – for autonomous monitoring

Our battery housings include a unique power and sensor management system for the sensor and battery but do not include the battery.

For batteries, we are working with Blue Robotics and have housings suitable to accept one or two of the Lithium-ion 14.8V, 15.6Ah or Lithium-ion 22.2V, 28Ah batteries.

Our battery housings:
Depth Rating: 900m
Dimensions: 480mm (l) x 120mm (d)
Power Management System: built-in to allow a low current draw when not sampling, for optimal battery lifetimes
Battery Voltage Monitor: to ensure the voltage stays above its recharge minimum
Onboard SD Card: for quick data retrieval post-deployment. Just pop out the SD card and take the data straight from the unit, removing the need to download the data from the sensor

To find which battery pack is best suited to your deployment, please check the table below as a guide to show how long each battery pack will last under various sensor measurement frequencies.

DATA TRANSFER UNIT – for easy communication to/from your sensor

The Data Transfer Unit (DTU) allows easy access from the sensor to a USB of a computer.

DTU

There are two different models:

Depth RatingFunction
DTUNon-SubmersibleDTU
DTU-ANon-SubmersibleDTU and Analog out functions
ANALOG SIGNAL UNIT – for Voltage or Current output

The Analog signal units allow for either a current or voltage analog output from the sensor.

The different models are:

Depth RatingFunction
DTU-ANon-SubmersibleDTU and Analog out functions – Current or Voltage out
ACU300300mAnalog out functions – Current out
ACU12501250mAnalog out functions – Current out
AVU300300mAnalog out functions – Voltage out
AVU12501250mAnalog out functions – Voltage out

The units can be terminated via SubConn or pigtail
