tip

Keep an eye on the message next to the firmware version, which will notify you if a new firmware update is available for installation!

If you are not connected to the internet, a message will appear stating 'Not able to connect to anbsensors.com to check for latest versions.' In this case, all firmware versions will be labelled as Latest. Once internet access is restored, you can check here to see if new firmware is available.

When using anb_utils, a Log folder will be created in the same directory as your anb_utils executable. This contains a text file associated with the COM port, which logs all output from the sensor. A Data folder is also created if any csv files are downloaded from the sensor.

note

If your sensor is not powered when you select your serial port, or the wrong serial port is selected, the following message will be given:

Cannot get Full Sensor output.... Is sensor Turned off? Is Firmware installed?
Press Enter to continue or ctrl-c to quit

Repower your sensor and restart anb_utils
