Install New Firmware

This option allows you to install new firmware

Select option 2. Install New Firmware from the main menu in anb_utils

Select 'option 2' and the following message will be displayed:

Would you like to download and install the latest firmware from anbsensors.com? [y/n]

Automatic installation of new firmware from anbsensors.com​

To download the latest firmware from our website select 'y'. This downloads the BMS firmware and automatically installs it.

The following will be displayed:

* Once installation begins, please ensure continuous power.

Installing BMS firmware. Please Wait.
BMS_3.17.hex is BMS Firmware

Now installing Firmware File 4730 Lines

* Please power cycle to complete.

Ensure your BMS remains fully powered throughout the installation process. Additionally, make sure your laptop or computer stays active and does not enter sleep or power-saving mode during this time.

Manual installation of new firmware from downloaded files​

If you want to manually download the latest firmware from the website select 'n' and download the required BMS firmware files into the same folder as anb_utils.

Select a firmware file to install:

1 BMS_3.17.hex

* Once installation begins, please ensure continuous power.

Enter file [1]:

Choose the firmware you want to upload and follow the on-screen instructions. The firmware installation will then start with a percentage completion countdown.
