Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Integration Engineer to be the technical bridge between our advanced sensor technology and our customers' diverse telemetry systems. This role is central to the successful deployment of our products, requiring a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and strong customer communication. You will work closely with clients from initial concept through to post-deployment support, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

Responsible For
Sensor Integration & Project Collaboration:
  • Integrate ANB's sensor systems into various customer telemetry platforms.
  • Collaborate directly with customers on new projects, meticulously understanding their technical requirements and operational needs.
  • Advise customers on best practices for sensor deployment, data acquisition, and system optimisation.
  • Contribute to project planning and execution, ensuring technical milestones are met.

  • Customer Technical Support & Relationship Management:
  • Provide comprehensive technical support to customers throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initial outreach to post-implementation.
  • Conduct customer support calls, offering expert guidance and troubleshooting.
  • Analyze and make informed decisions regarding product returns, including debugging, repair recommendations, and technical justification for replacements.
  • Document customer interactions, technical issues, and solutions effectively.

  • Internal Technical Support & Maintenance:
  • Provide technical support for in-house equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and minimal downtime.
  • Perform regular maintenance and calibration of internal systems and tools.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues with internal hardware and software.

  • Hardware Testing & Assembly:
  • Execute thorough testing procedures for new hardware builds, ensuring quality and performance standards are met.
  • Participate in the assembly of new hardware components and systems.
  • Provide feedback to engineering and production teams for continuous improvement.
  • Experience
    Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. (Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).

  • Experience:
  • Proven experience in integrating hardware and software systems, ideally with sensors or telemetry equipment.
  • Experience in a customer-facing technical support role.
  • Familiarity with debugging, testing, and troubleshooting electronic systems.
  • Experience with hardware assembly is a plus.

  • Technical Skills:
  • Practiced in the use of lab equipment, either self contained or PC driven, DVM's, Current/Voltage meters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, logic analysers, protocol analysers etc.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation.
  • Ability to address and troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution.
  • Proficiency with various communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Modbus, RTU, ASCI).
